Your assistant

Connect your AI assistant.

Ask ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant about your boat, and let it log things for you. You give the assistant one address, sign in to LazyJack once, and it is connected. It takes a couple of minutes, and you can disconnect it at any time.

  1. Add LazyJack to your assistant. Each assistant calls this something different ("custom connector", "app", "MCP server"); the cards below say where. Paste this address: https://app.lazyjack.app/api/v1/mcp
  2. Sign in to LazyJack on the page that opens. It shows what the assistant will be allowed to do; approve it.
  3. Switch LazyJack on in a chat and ask, for example: "What needs doing on the boat this week?"

Where to add it.

ChatGPT

Needs a paid plan. In Settings, turn on Developer mode, then create an app with the address and choose sign-in with OAuth.

Claude

Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector. Works on claude.ai and in the desktop and mobile apps, on every plan.

Coding tools

Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients. The guide has the exact commands.

You stay in control.

  • Before anything connects, you see what it will be allowed to do, on LazyJack's own sign-in page
  • It can add and update, but cannot archive or remove anything on its own
  • Everything it changes appears in the activity list, like your own changes
  • Disconnect it at any time from Settings

ChatGPT and Claude register themselves with LazyJack, so Settings shows them as "Not verified". That is normal. Only approve a connection you started yourself.
